The Sentinel Firm, APC is a plaintiff's law firm based in Los Angeles, specializing in employment law. Our 15 attorney firm is growing very rapidly, and the right candidate will have unique advancement opportunities. Our employment division is divided into two departments, the single plaintiff wrongful termination department (e.g. FEHA cases), and the wage and hour class action department. We are looking to immediately hire a junior associate for our wage and hour class action department. About the team and culture

We place a huge emphasis on attorney growth and happiness. No one in our office will be barking orders at you, and everyone has a pretty awesome personality. We give our associates real responsibilities, and the attorney for this position will be trained to soon manage their own cases under the supervision of one of the senior attorneys. We are looking for someone that can grow with the firm. Responsibilities

Represent victims of wage theft on a classwide basis related to unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, unreimbursed expenses and more. Provide legal counsel, draft legal documents, take/defend depositions, and advocate for clients in and out of the courtroom. Assist in state and federal plaintiff’s-side class action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Work toward managing own cases under supervision of senior attorneys as you grow. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active member of the California State Bar in good standing; recent graduates awaiting bar results may be considered. Experience is not required; we will train the right candidate. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Position is 100% in-person at our brand new downtown Los Angeles office. Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience, in addition to year-end bonuses.
