Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Imaging, the Cardiac Sonographer is a critical member of the care team. This role is responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures and performing full trans-thoracic echocardiography procedures.
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Location : Will float between two locations in Las Vegas, NV
Duties & Responsibilities: Perform echocardiographic exams using 2-D imaging, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler Prepare preliminary reports for physician review Utilize ultrasound enhancing agents and perform saline contrast studies as needed Explain procedures clearly to members and address concerns Accurately enter test data and patient information into clinical systems
Education & Experience: Current state license(s), including RDMS, medical imaging permit, and BLS certification Credentialed as RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) Minimum of 2 years as an Imaging Tech
