Material Handler (Night Shift)

This role has a schedule of 12-hour shifts, 2/2/3 rotation.
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Pay Range: $21.20 per hour (night shift includes shift differential)
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure materials are safely inspected, packaged, labeled, and moved to the Finished Goods Area, meeting Versatex's quality standards. Safely operate forklifts and other equipment per Versatex SOPs. Maintain and follow production schedules, Black Book specifications, and QC requirements. Perform Q.C. fit testing and visual inspections; report defects to Machine Operator. Operate Fox IV label printer and Pulverizer, and perform basic machine functions. Maintain “5S” standards in fabrication work areas. Maintain tools and equipment and perform housekeeping duties. Notify shift supervisor of problems and relay information to Group Leads and Supervisors. Execute/explain PPE and 5-S SOPs. Perform basic math to count boards/sheets and track materials. Qualifications:
Proficient in basic math (whole numbers, fractions, decimals). Effective written and verbal communication skills. Solid attendance during the probationary period. Completion of Material Handler and Forklift Training Programs. Independent in Material Handler duties including OC checks, packaging, labeling, etc. Proficient in Core computer system and Black Book Specs. Ability to operate Fox IV label printer and basic machine functions. Participate in Versatex’s 5-S system. Ability to perform Q.C. checks and recognize/report machine issues. Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
