National Jewish Health is seeking a detail-oriented

Development Data Specialist

to support the research and prospect management processes within the Development department. This position focuses on maintaining the integrity and accuracy of high-value donor records and assisting with staff training to ensure consistent data management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, update, and code donor and prospect records to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Review and process prospect research requests, donor files, and Development Officer portfolios. Collect and manage information for board and trustee records, ensuring timely updates. Support special projects such as the Annual Report and Planned Giving through data coordination and reporting. Assist with training new and existing staff on database procedures and best practices. Position Summary Assists in research and prospect management processes and maintains data hygiene and integrity of high value records within the Development department. Participates in training for new staff members.

Essential Duties Maintains, updates and codes high value donor records for data accuracy and integrity. This includes daily review of gift report records, event records and processing mail returns. For staff managed records, researching and updating constituent data as needed, to promote and support moves management system. Reviews, questions and take actions as needed on Prospect Research action requests from staff members, donor files (paper and electronic), and Development Officer portfolios. Collects and enters updated data on board and trustee records to ensure on-demand accuracy. Responsible for selected aspects of Development special projects (Annual Report, Planned Giving), coordinating data collection, entry and final outputs as needed. Assists database analyst in delivering new employee training and targeted training for existing employees. Other Duties

Maintains financial records, tracks invoices and processes invoices for payment. Helps manage print and online subscriptions. Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree is preferred. Work Experience:

3 years of recent and related data management experience required. Raiser's Edge experience strongly preferred. Special Training, Certification or Licensure:

Blackbaud Certified in Raiser's Edge is preferred.

Salary Range:

$27.54 - $36.42
