Position Purpose:

The Manager, Corporate Security Data Analytics at The Home Depot, is responsible for leading the development and execution of advanced analytical strategies to detect and prevent fraudulent activities. This role combines strategic thinking with technical expertise to build and deploy machine learning models, drive data-driven fraud strategies, and lead a team of fraud data analysts. The position aims to enhance fraud mitigation efforts by leveraging large datasets, predictive modeling, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

30% Business Analytics & Insights - Lead analyses, typically of moderate to high complexity, of HR, Payroll and related business data and processes; Analyses focus on identifying trends; determining root causes of problems; and identifying solutions to manage problems and drive effective business decisions

40% Design & Development - Coordinate the design and development of dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids to educate, inform and influence the decisions of HR clients and business leaders; Coordinate the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions that improve HR and business decisions

15% Project Management - Use project management methodologies to involve stakeholders and offer timely communication of project status; Support HR initiatives through project planning and timely delivery with a focus on associate experience, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability; Ensure end to end support that includes communications, change management, and plans for ongoing sustainability

15% Supports Team Development - Support hiring and onboarding new team members, as needed; Develop successful team culture; Manage the responsibilities of the team; Coach, mentor and evaluate team member performance

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

This position typically reports to Sr. Manager of HR Analytics

This position has 3-5 Direct Reports

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries

Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools

Proficient with data mining software (e.g., IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, Hadoop)

Experience with graph-based libraries (e.g., NetworkX, Neo4j) and network science techniques to map and analyze customer and transaction data to detect coordinated fraud patterns

Experience deploying models in production environments.

Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation

Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences

Highly skilled in translating business questions / problems into analytical models

Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate others and drive results through competing objectives

Experience managing analytical projects and developing actionable recommendations

Experience with designing business reports, dashboards and graphical presentations conveying analytical concepts

Proven track record of building solid partnerships/relationships and influencing key stakeholders

Experience with Excel and PowerPoint using advanced level spreadsheet analytics for developing presentations

Familiarity or experience with Microstrategy or other business intelligence tools is a plus

Strong ability to manage, lead and develop a team of people building a results-driven team

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams

2+ years of previous leadership experience
