Introduction to Computing Software Packages
Business Applications (Microsoft Excel, Access) Introduction to Programming (Python) Physics Labs (various levels) Physics

Christopher Newport University is committed to excellence in teaching in a student centered, liberal arts and sciences environment. Along with demonstrated ability for excellent teaching, candidates must hold an earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline, with 18 completed semester hours of graduate course work in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Science or another closely related field. Official transcripts will be required at the time of hire. Candidates for hire are required to complete a University sponsored background check. Departmental Information:
The Department of Physics, Computer Science & Engineering at Christopher Newport University employs 32 full-time faculty and staff who collaborate closely across disciplines. Together we offer six undergraduate majors and a Masters program.
