Overview

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy machinery and related equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the facility and in the field.

Position Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure repairs meet safety and operational standards.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

• Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify issues.
• Recommend and carry out effective repair solutions.
• Verify equipment performance after maintenance or repair.

Parts & Record Management

• Order and manage replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of services and repairs performed.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform inspections to ensure equipment is compliant and reliable.

Prerequisites

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)

• ASE Certification in Heavy Equipment or Diesel Mechanics.
• OSHA safety certification.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
