We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy machinery and related equipment. This role is essential in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations in both shop and field environments.
Position Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy machinery.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Complete repairs to industry and safety standards.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify issues accurately.
Recommend and perform effective repair solutions.
Verify equipment reliability and safety after service.
Parts & Record Management
Manage parts ordering, inventory, and replacement.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Safety & Compliance
Follow safety protocols and adhere to regulatory standards.
Keep the work environment clean, safe, and organized.
Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
Prerequisites
Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or technician.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
ASE Certification in Heavy Equipment or Diesel Mechanics.
OSHA safety certification.
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
