ABOUT THE Division General description We are looking for motivated and self-driven Systems Administrators to join our Cloud Administration team. The team primarily supports and manages CPA’s AWS cloud environments. Your day will be anything but routine as a member of this team. You will be assisting in multiple areas, including AWS account provisioning, security management, server management and maintenance, networking, storage management, and automation. You will work with multiple development teams, assisting in code and content deployments, and proof of concept designs. You will coordinate with security teams to ensure the systems and environments meet the highest security standards and follow industry best practices. You will work collaboratively to diagnose a variety of complex infrastructure issues as well as automating routine processes and keeping up to date on new services. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40-hour week, Monday – Friday. Occasionally work additional hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Cloud support activities periodically require on-call responsibilities or work during non-standard hours. Hours may change based on business need. Teleworking may be considered if certain working conditions are met. The candidate must have permanent residency within the state of Texas and must be able to meet in-office requirements, which can vary among different sections (i.e., report to office 1 day/month, 1-3 days/week, etc.). Travel reimbursements are not provided for teleworking. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree. Five (5) years’ working experience with system engineering. Three (3) years’ automation framework experience (i.e.: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation etc.). Two (2) years’ working experience in AWS cloud computing technologies and techniques. Two (2) years’ experience performing customer service in an IT environment. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business information systems, computer information systems, or management information systems. Four (4) years’ experience in Linux-based development environment. Three (3) years’ experience in developing and deploying solution proofs of concept and capability demonstrations. Three (3) years’ experience with Apache configuration. Two (2) years’ experience with Linux system administration. Two (2) years’ experience in web server performance and capacity planning within distributed environment (i.e.: Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.). Two (2) years’ experience with disaster recovery backup and recovery operations. Experience in scripting language such as Ruby, BASH, PHP and Python. Experience with firewalls and load balancers (i.e.: F5, Nginx, etc.) in a production data center and/or cloud vendor. Experience with deployment management of public/government cloud solutions. Experience in analysis of performance/load testing and security issues. Three (3) years of experience with AWS cloud technologies in the following areas: gateways and networking, management, orchestration, security. Substitutions

Technical / Operational Support Analyzes, recommends, and implements system changes for security, efficiency and performance. Deploys and maintains services comprised of management, orchestration and security technologies. Monitors performance, capacity, and security of cloud resources and supporting technologies. Performs advanced root cause analysis. Architectural Support Assists in the development of solution architectures, policies and procedures. Performs research and analysis required for project proposals, system modifications and new products. Develops and supports complex implementations using automation frameworks and scripting. Collaborates with SMEs and customers for requirements and propose solutions that meet the objectives. Administration Reviews tool sets regularly for efficiency, cost, and performance. Prepares disaster recovery plans and participates in disaster recovery hot site testing.
