We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support the ODA Lead Administrator in maintaining and executing the DRB Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) program. This role helps ensure compliance, efficiency, and success within aviation certification processes. What You Will Do
Maintain ODA Unit Member Listing and other required ODA program records Review initial Unit Member (UM) applications and arrange ODA UM evaluation panels; submit applications and evaluation panel results to the FAA Track training requirements for all ODA UMs and prepare training materials as required Assist in developing ODA Procedure Manual changes and submit changes to the FAA Track closure of ODA Procedure Manual comments from the FAA Review FAA policy updates with the ODA Lead Administrator to determine impact on current ODA procedures and training Plan and assist in executing ODA audits and communicate with the FAA Track and ensure closure of corrective actions from ODA/FAA audits or self-disclosures Assist in preparing and submitting Internal Audit Reports Track and ensure closure of any FAA audit report comments Assist with preparation/coordination of UM annual evaluations Prepare FAA letters and tracking numbers, and submit FAA letter submittals Track and ensure closure of all FAA letter follow-up requirements Log, distribute, and file FAA incoming and outgoing correspondence as appropriate Track ODA/FAA requested metrics and compile data for ODA quarterly reports; submit final reports to the FAA Assist in developing presentations for the FAA What You Need to Be Successful
Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or design engineering is preferred. In lieu of a degree, 4 years plus of relevant experience will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Commitment to delivering quality customer service internally and externally Positive, detail-oriented, organized, team-oriented, and proactive problem-solver with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment This position involves access to export-controlled technology requiring U.S. Person status or government authorization. U.S. Person includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the U.S. Proof of status will be required if hired Desired Qualifications : 2+ years of relevant experience with an ODA or in an aviation company’s Airworthiness Department; working relationship with the FAA and FAA certification knowledge Apply now and become the driving force behind our growth and success.
