Quality Assurance Auditor , where you'll lead internal audits, monitor regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement across departments. You’ll document non-conformities, assist in root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are effective. This role also involves educating staff on program requirements, investigating aircraft incidents, and collaborating with management and customers to enhance quality systems.

What YOU Will Do

Conduct internal audits of VT SAA departments to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Perform surveillance of VT SAA activities within customer programs.

Document non-conformities using Corrective Action Preventive Action Reports (CAPAs) per VT SAA PPM QC-010.

Assist in identifying root causes and determining corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.

Conduct follow-up surveillance to assess the effectiveness of CAPA actions.

Review historical non-conformities and data to identify recurring issues and opportunities for system improvement.

Support training, production, and quality management in educating personnel on VT SAA and customer program requirements.

Promote quality and safety practices within production areas.

Collaborate with VT SAA management and customer representatives to facilitate program and quality system enhancements.

Investigate aircraft damage incidents, determine root causes, and document findings and corrective actions in detailed reports.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Quality Assurance.

What YOU Need

Two years of college or trade school preferred, but not required.

FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate preferred, but not required.

Prior auditing training or experience is a plus.

Strong oral and written communication skills for presenting ideas to coworkers, supervisors, management, and external agencies.

Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
