Overview
The role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the CV and Immunology Global MAx team helping optimally position BMS products for success in an increasingly challenging and evolving global access landscape. The position will work with other members of the Global Launch Strategy team supporting the delivery of diverse projects from launch reimbursement strategies to assessing commercial opportunities as well as engaging with individual market stakeholders across the world. The job will require someone who is able to work as part of a highly matrixed organization, engaging and supporting multiple cross functional stakeholders and be able to quickly understand the many nuances of the global reimbursement environment. This role will be an exciting first step into the world of global market access and pricing and therefore, successful candidates will be those able to communicate a desire to learn and grow within the role rather than coming in fully formed. Responsibilities
Support the work of the wider Cardiovascular and Immunology Global Launch Strategy team. This will encompass evaluating payer insights/perspectives; influencing brand strategies based on access and pricing insights. Aid the development of strong payer value propositions articulating bold and differentiated messages on clinical, humanistic and economic benefits, and ensuring those propositions are supported by strong evidence coming from registrational trials, non-registrational trials, and real-world evidence. Monitor competitive environment in partnership with the Business Insights team and update cross functional teams on important access developments. Qualifications
Scientific Undergraduate degree required. 4-5 years' commercial experience and, while not required, an understanding of Market Access, Pricing or HEOR at a Global/WW or large country market level will be a plus. Basic understanding of the current and evolving global market access environment ideally for cardiovascular and/or immunology products. Proven ability to translate scientific/clinical value into economic value. A basic understanding of cost effectiveness/budget impact models. Demonstrable ability to engage with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to efficiently craft and accurately articulate complex messages to stakeholders with potentially limited understanding of topic area. A reasonable understanding of the biopharmaceuticals industry in the cardiovascular and/or immunology space. Knowledge of the product development and commercialization process with launch / commercialization experience desired. Ability to travel to international congresses and BMS internal meetings as required. Demonstration of all BMS behaviors, including Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, Passion, Urgency and Inclusion. Financial acumen, and ability to navigate corporate annual reports and finance documents. Compensation and Benefits
Princeton - NJ - US $164,050 - $198,790. The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
