$25-30 per hour Pay rate must be 30.00 to align with conversion rate. Must submit with relevant vendor notes and correct ST, OT, and DT rates. Must submit on updated RTX letterhead. This is a first shift role. Responsibilities
Assist in packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military and commercial applications. Follow engineering instructions with exceptional attention to detail; work from controlled processes and perform tasks using chemical materials (epoxies, adhesives, solvents, etc.). Operate in an environmentally controlled area; use a microscope and small hand-held tools (tweezers, screwdrivers, etc.). Push a cart and reach above shoulder height as needed; visually inspect small parts. Wear company-provided PPE and strictly follow safety-related processes, procedures, and protocols. Qualifications
Required Skill Sets: Able to work from engineering instructions with exceptional attention to detail. Able to work extended periods in an environmentally controlled area. Able to use a microscope and small hand-held tools, often using both hands. Basic to moderate computer use. Desired Skill Sets:
Previous experience in a cleanroom and around ESD-sensitive parts is a plus; understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods is a plus; familiarity with Z-scopes preferred; experience in wire bonding or laser welding highly desired. Years of Experience Required:
Four Education:
High school diploma or GED required; must communicate in English and understand written and verbal instruction in English. Performance & Culture
Measure success by successfully completing online factory access training and approval skill training. Collaborative team environment; training under a senior technician, technician lead, or process engineer depending on skill requirements and operation sensitivity. Effective communication in English with technicians, management, process engineers, and support staff. Benefits
