C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability and acts as a force multiplier by utilizing networked, integrated, and synchronized operations on a global and regional scale, along with autonomous sensor and weapon systems, to enhance performance. C2BMC is a key component of all ground and flight tests, which validate and demonstrate current and future capabilities of the missile defense system. The Interface Engineer will lead the development and design of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Documents (IDDs). They will establish new interfaces between external elements, such as sensors, and other Command and Control Systems. The Engineer will ensure that the ICDs and IDDs meet the program's standards. The Engineer is also expected to develop various behavioral diagrams to understand and document requirements. This position will be part of the C2BMC Systems Engineering Team within SEIT and may support non-interface systems engineering activities as needed. Salary range in Huntsville: $131,100 - $196,700. Salary range in Colorado Springs: $124,900 - $187,300. Essential Functions
