Week 1 - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays7:00am -7:30pm Week 2 - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays 7:00am -7:30pm Responsibilities

As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols, as requested by referring physicians. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown\'s philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards. Adhere to the policies and procedures that apply to the performance of obtaining CT studies, including performing the correct exam (including laterality) on the correct patient at the time requested and the correct CT protocol. Must adhere to radiation safety practices for the scanning of patients. Ensure timely completion of all exams through tracking, scanning, and other technical workflow related to Radiology Information System (RIS), Enterprise Radiology Solutions (ERS) and Enterprise Electronic Record (EMR). Directs patient flow on the assigned scanner; seeks to maximize productivity while minimizing patient waiting times before, during and after the procedure. Coordinate and collaborate with Technical Aides to ensure efficient room turnover. Maintain a neat work area, wipe down assigned equipment between cases, stock and maintain supplies at identified inventory levels in the assigned lab. Adhere to all related safety requirements and report needs for equipment repairs. Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with Patient Financial Associates that register radiology exams to minimize delays and potential safety issues for the outpatient population. Provide basic information to patients and/or families about procedures to be performed and can answer questions if asked. Qualifications

Completed training in an approved Radiologic Technology program. A.R.R.T. registered. ARRT advanced certification in CT within 1 year. Basic Life Support (BLS). Prior CT experience preferred. This position has a hiring range of $35.68 - $64.71
