Executive Sous Chef - Multiple Locations (Renton, Auburn, Everett, WA)
We are seeking passionate and experienced Executive Sous Chefs to join our culinary teams across multiple locations in the Seattle area. This individual will support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. You will lead culinary execution and ensure meals are prepared in accordance with corporate programs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure high-quality food items are creatively prepared and presented in a cost-effective manner.
Assist in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
Support cost control initiatives and manage expenditures for the account.
Roll out new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.
Supervise kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall sanitation.
Motivate, train, develop, and direct back-of-house employees in food preparation and cooking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training.
3–5 years of relevant culinary experience.
Mastery of various kitchen positions and stations.
Ability to think quickly and adapt to dynamic kitchen environments.
Strong understanding of food cost and quality control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and internet-based tools.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
