Overview
Assistant/Associate Professor, Clin Geo, Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM). This position focuses on clinical outpatient and inpatient care with potential involvement in research through grants or clinical trials. Academic responsibilities include clinical teaching of residents, fellows and medical students. The rank is open (Assistant/Associate) and commensurate with experience and accomplishments. The Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a Neurologist specializing in Multiple Sclerosis to join as a faculty member. This role supports the University\'s mission and excellence in teaching, patient care, and scholarly activities. Essential Functions
Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars. Attend meetings, participate in governance, and prepare materials for teaching. Evaluate and develop curriculum for the department and/or college. Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework. Serve on college or university committees and participate in curriculum development activities. Serve on graduate committees, supervise laboratories (where appropriate), independent study activities, and off-campus learning. Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities. Render service to the professional or lay community relevant to the academic specialty. Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
MD or DO with Board eligibility or Board certification. Active State of Ohio Medical License. Completion of 4-year residency in Neurology. 1 year Fellowship training is ideal. Compensation and Benefits
