Overview

Vice President, Financial Reporting

is based in Los Angeles, CA and reports to the Managing Director / Controller. This role is responsible for leading and executing the company\'s financial reporting processes. Responsibilities

Manage the Company’s SEC financial reporting process, including the review of quarterly and annual filings (Form 10-Q/K and other SEC filings as required), ensuring the highest degree of quality with timely deliverables. Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly earnings materials. Assist in the preparation and review of Audit Committee and Board meeting materials. Ensure compliance with key financial reporting controls and ensuring that evidentiary matter is appropriately documented to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley. Ensure the Company’s SEC filings comply with extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) requirements. Coordinate with the internal and external auditors and provide various requests. Ad hoc assistance in the research of technical guidance, implementation of new accounting pronouncements and compilation of peer disclosure information. Streamline the current financial reporting process by improving processes, creating efficiencies and documenting policies and procedures. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and develop strong working relationships within the BDC accounting team, legal and compliance, investor relations and the BDC management team. Qualifications & Attributes

12+ years of relevant accounting experience, including SEC financial reporting experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA and big four experience preferred Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in the alternative investment management industry is a plus. Experience with Geneva and Workiva is a plus. Relationship Building; works effectively with strong, diverse teams of people with multiple perspectives, talents, and backgrounds. Ability to elicit cooperation from and gain the confidence of a wide variety of participants including other departments and third-party service providers. Compensation:

$190,000 per year
