Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for understanding and applying construction and company standards, quality control assurance, and enforcing Environmental, Health, and Safety policies. Your exceptional team management and planning skills are essential as you oversee daily operations, documentation, and communication for all assigned projects, ensuring the timely delivery of complete reports. You leverage your knowledge of project financials to monitor margins, progress, and costs, communicating any plan changes to leadership. Your transparency and proactive communication creates trusted relationships with leaders, strategic business partners, and key stakeholders. Your crisis management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills are put to the test while you simultaneously lead teams and work on large, unusual, and/or high priority projects.
In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the team, you audit ongoing projects for compliance, create project schedules, and research steps for permitting when necessary. You assist in soliciting bids and coordinating subcontractors and work with the team to ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule. With your consistent involvement, the team produces Daily Field Reports and adheres to our company communication policy. You not only excel at ensuring project goals and objectives are met, you take the time to ensure the goals of each individual on the team are met by providing regular coaching, cross-training, and development opportunities. You have a natural ability to lead and motivate others which makes a difference to both our clients and team members. Your role is critical to our success, and you\'re proud of what you do every day.
Responsibilities
Audit ongoing projects for compliance and create project schedules; research steps for permitting when necessary.
Assist in soliciting bids and coordinating subcontractors; ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule.
Lead daily field reporting and ensure adherence to the company communication policy.
Provide regular coaching, cross-training, and development opportunities to team members.
Lead, motivate, and develop teams for successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
5 years of restoration/construction industry experience or a combination of relevant education and equivalent industry experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements and their application.
Knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
Understanding of Time and Materials billing.
Ability to read Xactimate scopes.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver\'s license required.
Special Position Requirements
Must work in a busy, service-oriented team under pressure to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality service.
Must be able to work overtime, on weekends, and be available to respond 24/7.
May attend disaster sites and be near hazardous environments; travel may be required.
