Operations Analyst Principal Ensure the safety and security of our nation as an Operations Analyst Principal at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community and for the Operational Force. As an Operations Analyst Principal you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on an Operations Analyst Principal/Senior Operations SME joining our team to augment our Higher Command Control Cell (HICOM). He or she will develop, refine, and update realistic exercise products and vignettes, and will role-play operational and tactical level Special Operations Force units during exercises. Most of our exercises will be Commander's Assessments, designed to assist a unit Commander to train and assess his/her staff, and other exercises will be External Evaluations (EXEVALs) conducted as part of unit pre-deployment activities. Position Specific Tasks Include But Are Not Limited To: Develop and maintain intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and Collection Management (CM) training materials Integrate and synch ISR products into exercise scenarios Mentor trainees on ISR capabilities, processes, and employment Execute ISR-related training scenarios during MRX Brief leadership and exercise players on ISR capabilities, exercise execution, and lessons learned What You’ll Need to Succeed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (candidates may be completing if they have an Associate’s Degree and requisite experience) Experience: Assignment to U.S. Army Special Operations Forces or related DoD units; equivalent assignments within other DoD branches Technical Skills: Training and qualifications listed (e.g., Army Special Forces qualifications or equivalent) or equivalent experience Security Clearance: Secret Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving, and mission planning Preferred: Two years of MRX-related experience Location: On Customer Site at the Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC), Fort Liberty, NC Why GDIT
