Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels to provide the best possible counsel with a digital first mindset. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, and educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services. They recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. Responsibilities include proactive outreach and follow up, asking questions, and learning about clients’ financial needs and channel preferences. They identify solutions for new and existing clients, maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services (including digital products), and provide a consistent optimal client experience by greeting clients and processing basic transactions. They develop collaborative partnerships with branch teams and partners to serve clients, open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. They proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and services to help meet their financial needs and leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z. You will be subject to required registration, including a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet any NMLS requirements may result in rescission of offer or termination of employment. Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training Preferred Skills/Experience
Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow up Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems Proven customer service and interpersonal skills Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs with a digital first mindset Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations to meet customer needs reactively and proactively Experience in the financial services industry preferred Branch West location noted.
