We are seeking a proven Senior Technical Recruiter to help propel Skydio’s growth through hands-on recruitment of elite engineering and operations talent. You will own end-to-end hiring for core engineering functions: Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and Hardware Operations. While primarily responsible for one area, you should be able to support across functions as needs evolve. How you'll make an impact: Operate as the go-to recruiting expert and trusted advisor for hiring leaders and interview teams Seek top talent, build high-quality pipelines, craft compelling candidate experiences, and secure exceptional hires in competitive skill sets Develop a deep understanding of what makes Skydio unique to effectively target, engage, and close top talent Drive structured interview and decision-making processes maintaining high hiring standards Foster collaborative relationships across Hiring Managers, People Ops, and Compensation teams Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve recruiting processes, and mentor junior team members Contribute as a key member of our lean startup recruiting team What makes you a good fit: Deep recruiting expertise in at least two areas: Cloud, Mobile, Infrastructure, Embedded, Wireless, Camera/Optics, Hardware Engineering, or Hardware Operations Proven success in building high-performing engineering teams for growth-stage companies Strong knowledge of the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem and top talent sourcing strategies Experience sourcing niche talent pools for specialized roles in competitive markets Exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational rigor, and a commitment to excellent candidate experience Ability to advise hiring teams with market intelligence and recruiting strategies Preferred experience in both in-house and agency recruiting Compensation:
Our packages include competitive base salaries, stock options, and comprehensive benefits. The annual salary range is $130,000 - $180,000, with variations based on experience, skills, and location. We offer relocation assistance for eligible roles. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401K.
