A highly respected consulting firm in Chicago is seeking an exceptionally reliable and proactive Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to its Executive Chairman and his spouse. This full-time, hands-on role requires a candidate who is always available, highly discreet, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate anticipates needs, handles responsibilities with efficiency and poise, and serves as a steady right hand across both professional and personal matters. This role offers a competitive annual salary of $90,000-$110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with annual bonus potential.
Responsibilities
Manage the Chairman’s and spouse’s calendars, appointments, and scheduling (both personal and professional) Handle household administrative tasks including bill payments, expense tracking, and vendor coordination Liaise with household staff and service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Arrange personal travel, dining, medical, and social appointments Provide ad hoc personal assistance, errands, and support as needed Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion at all times Ensure the principals\' preferences and routines are respected and executed consistently
Qualifications
At least 15 years of experience supporting a high-level executive or family in a personal assistant or estate management capacity Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability Comfortable juggling multiple priorities with grace and urgency A strong sense of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends when necessary Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace, Excel, bill pay platforms, etc.) Chicago-based with reliable transportation
