Day-to-Day / Key responsibilities
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAs
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Support some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
Must-haves
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Medical or related field)
Hands-on work experience Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, and/or Harness Integration experience
Experience in a fast-paced production environment
Hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters), as well as standard hand tools
Plusses
Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Avionics certification/license
ASE certification and/or equivalent experience
CFOT certification and/or equivalent experience
Experience reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
Prior military service a plus
