Overview
Regional Access Manager - Midwest Location: US-IL-Chicago Role: Regional Access Manager (RAM) covering the Midwest region. Responsible for identifying, understanding and maximizing access and fulfillment opportunities for NNA products (Pediatric/GI, Metabolic and Ketogenic) within an assigned geographical area. Collaborates with National Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers, and the National Access Manager, Payor to address customer concerns and provide logistical solutions and messaging to ensure NNA products are available for prescribed patients. Key Responsibilities: Geographical Access Management: maximize product access in targeted territories; implement processes to understand opportunities and formulate solutions; develop and refine state access processes with analytics, strategies, tactics and measurements; manage local state contracts and formulary access; develop and implement access strategies for targeted states; integrate access management into regional business plans; coordinate with stakeholders to create messaging and customer solutions. WIC: gain understanding of state WIC procurement processes, formularies and opportunities; secure representation of NNA products on WIC formularies; lead efforts to maximize WIC sales; provide analytics on WIC sales and market share. Payor Landscape: drive payor access across regional payers; negotiate and establish agreements; manage and improve product portfolios of payor contracts; establish partnerships to improve performance; identify government and commercial payer opportunities and resolve access barriers (Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare & WIC). Home Health Care / Hospital / Pharmacy / Trade Regional Account Management: work with National Account Managers to develop strategic channel fulfillment strategies and assist with contracting and partnerships. Training and Coaching: align with the National Access Manager on fulfillment strategies; understand regional landscape and train Territory Managers, Regional Managers and relevant sales leaders on reimbursement access messaging. Additional responsibilities: assist in product launches for the WIC channel; secure WIC data and provide analytics; coordinate RTC communication and feedback with teams. Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 USD per year. Final offer depends on experience, location, internal equity, and market conditions. Knowledge, skills and abilities: - Thorough knowledge of WIC and reimbursement trends and product access issues. - Experience developing and implementing customer strategies and selling messages with strong analytical skills. - Strong sales, negotiation, business planning and communication skills. - Team player with ability to manage multiple priorities and work with internal/external customers. - Coaching and training skills for developing Key Account Management capabilities. - Strong written and oral communication; ability to convey complex ideas clearly. - Ability to develop regional strategic plans related to Product Access and to think strategically about business impact. - Cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to train others on messaging and selling skills. Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree required. - 5-7 years of relevant medical nutrition sales experience with a sales track record or equivalent clinical experience - Strong knowledge of access and fulfillment channels; WIC or other payer experience preferred - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks; credible with internal and external stakeholders.
