Overview

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, seek a full-time faculty member at the Associate level on the clinical-educator track. This position is clinically focused and includes contributing to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education and providing clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV newborn and infant intensive care unit at CHLA and in one of our four community NICUs. Academic appointments are through the USC Keck School of Medicine; CHLA and USC are equal opportunity, affirmative action employers. Responsibilities

Provide clinical service in the CHLA NICU (58-bed, level IV) and in one of the community NICUs. Contribute to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education as part of the clinical-educator track. Collaborate in the Fetal and Neonatal Institute and CHLA\u2019s Maternal-Fetal Center as part of a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

Must hold MD or DO degree. Board certified in Pediatrics. Board certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Desirable qualifications: clinical experience in clinical neonatology; strength in teaching; experience in patient-oriented, educational, quality improvement, translational, or outcomes research; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a complex, high-intensity academic environment. Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $116,505-$417,709. USC considers factors such as responsibilities, experience, education, skills, internal equity, applicable laws, grant funding, and external market conditions when making offers. About the Institutions
