Job Description
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a board certified or board eligible, full-time, fellowship trained Microvascular/Facial Plastic and Head & Neck Reconstructive surgeon at the assistant/associate/professor level.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in providing full-spectrum ENT services. Specific Interest in head and neck reconstructive surgery, microvascular free-tissue reconstruction, facial plastic surgery and facial trauma are desired. The candidate will provide care at our downtown campuses and will also be an important part of our clinical expansion beyond our downtown site. The candidate will have an appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and privileges at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Responsibilities include teaching residents and medical students, patient care and research.
Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D., J.D., or equivalent degree in Otolaryngology from an accredited institution. fellowship trained Facial Plastic and Head & Neck Reconstructive surgeon Demonstrated commitment to research, teaching, and service Strong potential for securing extramural funding (if applicable). Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive academic environment. Experience in interdisciplinary research or cross-disciplinary collaborations.
