As a Solar Electrical Engineer, you'll be able to help toward this by assisting in electrical estimation and electrical engineering for Solar projects across the US. In this exciting, mission-critical role, this key individual will leverage their knowledge of commercial and utility scale photovoltaic (PV) solar electrical design, equipment selection, energy modeling, and optimization to yield high-performing, cost-competitive systems. Responsibilities

Create utility scale Photovoltaic (PV) Solar / BESS electrical design, energy modeling, and optimization to yield high-performing, cost-competitive systems Assist in the electrical estimation for commercial and utility scale photovoltaic (PV) systems Utilize software tools to enable Estimating team to quickly and accurately quantify construction costs Use modeling software such as PVsyst to create production estimates Use software tools to optimize solar designs for energy yield and project value Create site layouts in Helioscope, Aurora, and AutoCAD Use internal tools and industry standards to optimize project designs for constraints such as scope, schedule, budget and geography Support troubleshooting and resolution of project engineering, construction and performance issues, where applicable Develop processes to streamline technical inputs Prepare technical documents including specifications, reports, and calculations Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Engineering, other Engineering disciplines 3+ years of related work experience in the development, design, construction, commissioning, and/or operation of PV solar Experienced in AutoCAD and Excel Proven experience with Solar concepts such as module technologies, single axis trackers, inverters, transformers, and string sizing, DC/AC ratio, GCR, etc. Familiarity with Pvsyst software for PV design is a plus Ability to produce high-quality technical reports to predefined deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills A flexible and proactive approach to project delivery with good organizational and project management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Outlook) Job Details

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits:
