We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Tuxedo and WebLogic to join our team. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical rental systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust solutions that align with our API-first strategy. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remote within the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and requires a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
Responsibilities:
Implement enhancement changes, monitor product health, and perform capacity planning.
Resolve production issues and design initiatives to evolve services.
Collaborate with client teams to ensure a consistent customer experience.
Monitor solution health to meet established SLAs and address performance degradation, capacity concerns, and outages.
Ensure system health during maintenance events such as patching and upgrades.
Evaluate technology effectiveness and recommend improvements for solution consistency and reliability.
Contribute to strategic capacity planning and operational activities.
Monitor key performance metrics and address escalated issues.
Qualifications:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in software development engineering with C/C++, JAVA, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
5+ years of experience with Middleware use and configuration (Tuxedo, WebLogic, Tomcat).
5+ years of AIX sysadmin experience and associated tools.
5+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
