Lead Site Reliability Engineer - Tuxedo/WebLogic
Base pay: $130,000 - $160,000 per year. Remote Role
Fully remote within the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Must work U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours. Overview
Work with a hybrid collection of Cloud, Web Services, and Legacy solutions to provide mission critical rental ticketing business capabilities. The role focuses on Site Reliability Engineering with an API-first strategy. Responsibilities
Implement enhancement changes, monitor product health, long‑ and short‑term capacity planning, and resolve production issues. Design initiatives to evolve services and align with the new API‑first strategy. Collaborate with client teams such as Greenlight, Frictionless, kiosks, mobile applications, and websites to ensure a consistent customer experience. Monitor solution health to meet established SLAs and assist with the resolution of performance degradation, capacity concerns, and outage events. Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting efforts and represent the department on complex assignments. Evaluate technology effectiveness, research, investigation, and recommend improvements for increased solution consistency and reliability. Contribute to strategic capacity planning and maintain key performance metrics. Provide technical expertise to project teams and lead on large, complex assignments. Support after‑hours implementations as required and participate in on‑call support rotations. Qualifications
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and reside in the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Work U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in a software development engineering environment supporting languages such as C/C++, JAVA, PL/SQL, and shell scripting. 5+ years of experience with Middleware use and configuration with Tuxedo, WebLogic, and Tomcat. 5+ years of AIX sysadmin experience and associated tools. 5+ years of experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalent monitoring tools. Committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities. Experience with Cloud technologies, production support, UNIX/Linux command‑line administration, and SQL‑based database administration is preferred. Employment Type
