The position involves publishing proprietary equity research in designated industry sectors aligned to Truist's Banking sectors, demonstrating the firm’s expertise in the sector. This role requires building financial models, conducting industry and company analysis, and communicating investment ideas to institutional clients. Responsibilities

Creating and publishing proprietary equity research content in the designated industry with stock recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell) to institutional buy-side clients. Conduct due diligence and provide industry expertise for capital markets equity transactions and initiate C-suite corporate access resources to institutional equity clients (including non-deal roadshows, conferences, field trips, bus tours, and conference calls). Conduct independent industry assessments and company-specific research reports. Engage with corporate client relationships at senior levels (CEO, President, COO, CFO, Director of Strategy, etc.). Work closely with senior analysts in the research production process and with supervisory analysts in the publication process. Conduct research at macro, industry, and company levels; build models including market forecasts, revenue, EPS, and cash flow at the company level. Perform financial and valuation analyses and formulate investment ideas; write draft research commentary. Collaborate with Capital Markets, sales, and trading as needed to leverage the research product with institutional clients; maintain dialog with covered company representatives as appropriate. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree Licenses: SIE and the 7 Top Off (or Series 7 for those licensed prior to Oct 2019), Series 63, Series 87 and either Series 86 or a FINRA waiver for CFA II Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or academic study beyond BA/BS Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to create in-depth financial models Advanced written and oral communication skills and teamwork ability Strong analytical and sales skills Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Degree and/or CFA Designation 6+ years of related work experience Experience in mentoring and coaching Salary note: The annual base salary for this position in New York is $185,000 General Benefits
