Education:
Masters in behavior analysis along with Behavior Analyst Certification Board approval. BCBA certification and/or licensed professional in BCBA. Responsibilities
Maintains a reduced caseload and current requirements for a treating therapist as per discipline specific job description. Exhibits knowledge of developments/trends in developmental disabilities and aging. Exhibits proper cooperation, enthusiasm, and interest in all areas necessary for success of FCC and associated services provided. Assures compliance with State/Federal law, and CARF accreditation. Responsible for interviewing/hiring/training RBTs; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding/disciplining employees; addressing complaints/resolving problems. Prepares timely reports/records for quality management review with CARF and Executive Management meetings. Assists in community involvement for Public Relations. Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS) and functional assessment measures. Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data. Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives. Teaches program staff, lead therapists and behavioral technicians on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems. Conducts regular parent/caregiver and teacher training and consultation. Develops materials, training and provides resources for and provides professional learning to administrators, educators, para-educators, and parents/guardians in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or other evidence-based methodologies related to addressing the needs of students with behavior difficulties. Train behavior technicians on ABA program and individualized plans of care. Conducts and oversees the initial RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training. Directly observe treatments administered by behavior technicians. Facilitate natural environment interventions when appropriate. Review technician's documentation and data collection and provide feedback as needed. Communicate through checking voicemail and email regularly. Oversee ongoing individual program oversight and conduct weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians. Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner according to written procedures and regulatory/payer guidelines. Develop written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers, and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner. Respond to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner. Participate in professional meetings or conferences. Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of FCC. Act as communication liaison between ABA Director and local ABA team. Assist with arranging coverage for therapist\'s call-ins/vacations and allocating therapist to priority location or caseload. Review weekly/monthly utilization numbers and assist with staffing recommendations/adjustments. Assist with new hire interview process and ABA specific NET as needed. Provide input for performance evaluations and for needed equipment and materials. This is a safety sensitive position. Qualifications
At least three years\' experience serving individuals with ASDs with a full range of skills and abilities. Experience with staff training and supervision. Masters in behavior analysis along with Behavior Analyst Certification Board approval. BCBA certification and/or licensed professional in BCBA Skills and Abilities
Language Skills: Ability to read, write and interpret medical history, assessment reports and relevant data. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups. Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math, compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions. Physical Demands
