is a majority Aboriginal owned Engineering contractor that operates over the Mining, Utilities, Defense, Government and Renewable sectors. Having generated 50+ Aboriginal upskilling positions since 2020 across electrical, mechanical and construction industries, engagement and participation with local Indigenous communities is embedded into the DNA of Baldja. As a Project Engineer within the Utility division of Baldja, you will be involved in the full project life cycle from Tendering/Feasibility, Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handover. The Utility division is primarily focused on the Water segment but expansion in on the horizon. This role will be Perth based during the Design and Procurement stage and will become FIFO on 2:1 roster (Broome area, WA) once Construction starts. Key Responsibilities
Manage a wide range of Procurement packages (pre-fabricated switch rooms, water storage tanks, pumps/valves/pipework, packaged renewable systems). Assist with managing design packages related to water treatment. Develop and participate in SiD review, Constructability reviews, HAZOPS, etc. Manage subcontractors. Develop and execute Quality Management & Completion Systems. Coordinate Logistics. Work closely with Supervision and Tradespeople to resolve issues. Assist the Project Manager and project with general duties. About You
Respectful of the communities and clients whom we serve. Willingness to work in remote areas, 2:1 roster. Bachelor of Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia). Strong stakeholder and subcontractor management. Established principles in Quality Management. Experience in Project Delivery. Water & waste water treatment experience advantageous. Why Join Us?
