Pediatric Otolaryngologist – Clinical Faculty/Physician Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL Rush University Medical Center invites applications for the position of pediatric otolaryngologist to join the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, education, and research. Qualified candidates must have completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship, be board certified/board eligible, and be eligible for faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to build a robust clinical practice encompassing all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, to teach residents and medical students, and to develop a successful research program. The position offers the opportunity to expand this highly ranked program at the Rush main campus and regional sites that will support the growth of the Section of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Participants will take part in multidisciplinary clinical programs, including the Pediatric Aerodigestive Program and Craniofacial Center, with potential to grow clinical programs such as airway reconstruction and head and neck masses. The Section supports a busy 72-bed Level IV NICU (highest IL designation), an 18-bed PICU with 24/7 coverage by pediatric intensivists, and a general pediatric unit at the main campus. Responsibilities

Develop and manage a robust clinical practice in pediatric otolaryngology. Teach residents and medical students; participate in departmental education activities. Develop and sustain a productive research program in pediatric otolaryngology. Collaborate in multidisciplinary programs, including the Pediatric Aerodigestive Program and Craniofacial Center. Grow clinical programs, including airway reconstruction and evaluation of head and neck masses. Contribute to the mission and goals of Rush University Medical Center and its regional sites. Completion of a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship. Board certification or eligibility for board certification in pediatric otolaryngology. Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above. Strong commitment to patient care, education, and research. About Rush

We offer competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs. Pay range for this role is $380,000 - $500,000 (TCC).
