Delivers exceptional nursing services in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines to cultivate the highest quality of care for all residents. Location and Shifts
Arcadia Retirement Residence Location (Health Care Center) Shifts available: Full Time (40 hours per week) 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; 4:00 pm - 12:00 am; 12:00 am - 8:00 am Full Time (40 hours per week) Monday through Sunday; Shifts available: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; 4:00 pm - 12:00 am; 12:00 am - 8:00 am Casual Hire (less than 20 hours per week) Monday through Sunday; Shifts available: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; 4:00 pm - 12:00 am; 12:00 am - 8:00 am Call-In (less than 20 hours; No Set Schedule) Monday through Sunday; Shifts available: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; 4:00 pm - 12:00 am; 12:00 am - 8:00 am Benefits

Participates in admissions, discharges, and evaluation materials/processes for all residents to ensure appropriate assessment and documentation are complete, timely and meet state and federal requirements. Conducts nursing assessments, administers professional nursing services (e.g., IVs, oxygen therapy, catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, dressing changes), and monitors care and treatment. Oversees medication administration, ensuring proper ordering, receiving, documentation, safe storage and disposal of medications; conducts regular review of medication documentation. Works with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident assessments comply with Federal and State regulations. Responds to Emergency Call alarms; assesses residents’ conditions, performs first aid and takes appropriate action. Communicates effectively with Health Care Management staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers regarding orders, services, and changes in residents’ conditions. Reports concerns or complaints to Health Care management; communicates effectively with residents, families, and visitors. Monitors nursing care of residents; participates in orientation and training of new employees and assists in replacements when nurses are unavailable. Investigates probable causes of incidents, writes incident reports, and implements corrective actions as needed. Participates in emergency drills and disaster response activities as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook. Participates in Quality Assurance programs and ensures compliance with all organization policies and applicable laws and regulations. Protects resident rights and responsibilities; maintains liaison with residents and families. Performs annual employee health screening, PPD testing and immunizations in line with policies; assesses employee injuries or emergencies and provides first aid as needed. Maintains supplies and monitors operation of medical devices and equipment. Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises employees in the Health Care Center, including training, planning, assigning, directing work, performance management, and resolving problems in accordance with policies and laws. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
Current State of Hawaii RN license and First Aid/CPR certification. Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and other applicable software; ability to learn additional software. Physical Demands
Regularly required to use hands, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
