Slalom Consulting is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive Enterprise Business Applications, including Salesforce services and client success with our Northern California clients within the financial services, fintech, technology, healthcare and life sciences space. The Salesforce leader will provide thought leadership to our enterprise and mid-market clients, set strategic direction for the “Go-to-Market” practitioners and be accountable for ensuring the overall quality execution of business and technology consulting across all Salesforce pursuits and engagements. What You’ll Do

Connects region or country-wide Capability strategy with market needs, acting as subject matter expert and thought leader at external events, and collaborates with industry partners to identify opportunities. Accountable for the Go-to-Market “GTM” focus within the Northern California markets to drive sales, pursuits, solutioning, and account management. Contributes to delivery in billable roles, recruitment, and operational aspects of the Capability and market. Deliver capability vision and strategy by aligning regional market needs with our Enterprise Capability and global strategy. Tailor the market GTM strategy to align with local industries, clients and communities. Partner with Industry aligned client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue opportunities related to Capability; act as a Solution Lead or SME in pursuits and identify SME from broader Capability team as needed. Lead and participate in multi-Capability solutioning and client outcomes-based selling motions with the GTM team; drive growth of the Northern California Salesforce and Enterprise Business Applications Capability through business development, solutioning, talent management, delivery oversight, and thought leadership. Develop relationships with Account and Industry teams and Salesforce teams to drive account planning and joint pursuits; build leading practice for GTM activities, sales solutioning, and reusable collateral for sales accelerators. Increase team performance and productivity; stay aware of industry-leading practices and business levers for Enterprise Business Applications and how pursuit teams interact. Proactively seek speaking opportunities as Capability SME and thought leader at external conferences and events; collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan thought leadership events and client outcomes. Ignite awareness and demand for Capability and client outcomes in the market; participate in Campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops and POCs to generate opportunities; research client portfolio needs and adjust focus to topics of resonance. Delivery

Provide engagement oversight and governance of Salesforce projects in market to ensure delivery quality. Mentor and upskill delivery team members through practice leadership and establishment of best practices. Resource & People Development

Participate in market-specific hiring, staffing, and workforce planning; contribute to planning for Market dedicated Capability pool. Support the development of direct reports and mentor practitioners in the Capability area serving the Market’s portfolio; participate in performance management and feedback. Financial Management

Work with Market’s GTM team and Capability leadership to create growth and cost projections; monitor forecast against revenue and escalate staffing as needed. What You’ll Bring

8+ years’ experience in a large consulting environment. Deep understanding of healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain, public sector and financial services space, including current trends, growth opportunities, technology enablement, and regulations. Expert business development and client management skills, including C-level relationships. Track record of successfully implementing Salesforce cloud solutions; technical understanding of Salesforce architecture; active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications upon hire. Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle methodologies; expert program management and delivery; strong written and verbal communication. Strong business operations skills (proposal development, SOWs, price modeling, margins, utilization) with ability to manage multiple complex pursuits. Excellent mentoring and leadership skills; detail-oriented with self-motivation and follow-through; ability to excel in a fast-paced, innovative environment. About Us

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this Director-level role is $161,000–$307,000 with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
