Turo is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Analytics team in San Francisco. This high-impact role will partner with the Marketing Technology (MarTech) team to integrate the latest tools and measurement strategies to enable smarter, more effective marketing. Your strong analytical expertise, intellectual curiosity, and strategic influence will help shape Turo’s MarTech ecosystem and guide our multi-million-dollar marketing portfolio. What You'll Do:
Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Analysis:
Serve as the analytical lead for our MMM program. You'll partner with our MarTech team to manage data pipelines, collaborate with our MMM vendor, and translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable insights on incrementality, channel effectiveness, and marketing ROI. Shape Marketing Strategy & Budget:
Go beyond reporting. You will develop data-driven budget allocation models, create forward-looking scenarios to forecast outcomes, and provide the analytical backbone for our most strategic marketing bets. Lead the Marketing Experimentation Roadmap:
Partner with channel owners to build and execute a robust roadmap of A/B and incrementality tests. You will own the measurement framework that validates our MMM findings and uncovers new optimization levers. Spearhead Strategic Deep Dives:
Proactively identify and investigate our most complex business questions. Your analyses will tackle everything from attribution discrepancies and channel saturation to customer lifetime value (LTV), uncovering new opportunities for growth. Drive Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance and Product to build a cohesive, data-driven narrative about marketing's impact on the business, ensuring we are all telling a unified story. Your Profile:
Experience: 4+ years in a marketing, growth, or product analytics role, preferably at a high-growth tech or marketplace company. Direct experience working with the outputs of advanced measurement models (e.g., Marketing Mix Modeling, multi-touch attribution) to influence strategic decisions. Proven track record of designing, executing, and analyzing marketing experiments (e.g., A/B tests, incrementality lift studies). Experience working with marketing technology tools for event tracking (e.g., Segment), app attribution (e.g., AppsFlyer), customer engagement (e.g., MoEngage), web analytics (e.g., GA4), and familiarity with paid advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads). Skills: Technical Toolkit:
Advanced proficiency in SQL. Expertise in a data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Domo). Familiarity with Python for data analysis is a strong plus. Analytical Mindset:

For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $146,000-$182,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role will be in-office on a hybrid basis; employees are expected to work in the office 3 days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
