Emergency Physician Positions
The Department of Emergency Medicine in the Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCAMED) is seeking applications for outstanding Emergency Physicians to join our group.
About BMCHS and Sites BMCHS provides emergency services across three departments: BMC, BMC South, and BMC Brighton. BMC is a large academic medical center and Level-1 trauma center serving more than 130,000 ED visits annually. BMC South serves more than 60,000 ED visits annually across 22 communities. BMC Brighton serves more than 25,000 ED visits annually and is a community tertiary-care academic hospital.

Responsibilities
Clinical practice and bedside teaching of students and residents in the Emergency Department.
Clinical Nocturnist responsibilities as part of the ED team.
Clinician Educator activities including bedside teaching, curriculum design, and assessment of students and residents.
Engagement in Academic Areas of Focus for early- and mid-career faculty, including Health equity/Public Health, EMS, Ultrasound, Clinical Innovation, and Implementation Science/Health Services Research.
Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine residency.
ABEM/AOBEM certification or eligibility.
Massachusetts Medical Licensure and clinical privileges in Emergency Medicine at BMCHS.
Required: Cover Letter/Letter of Interest and a Curriculum Vitae.
Optional: Diversity Contribution Statement.
