Role Description
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in private equity, with a focus on sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. Analysts will work closely with the team to assist in origination efforts, build pipeline, and engage with corporate development professionals, investment bankers, founders, and industry executives. Analysts will also support sector thesis development, market research, and preparation of investment committee materials. This role is ideal for highly motivated, analytical professionals seeking meaningful exposure to private equity in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the team with origination and pipeline-building efforts
Proactively engage with investment banks, corporate development teams, and industry executives to help uncover new opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with bankers and intermediaries to support deal sourcing
Maintain and manage the firm’s CRM, including pipeline tracking and data updates
Support sector research, market mapping, and investment thesis development
Assist in preparing investment committee materials and internal reports
Coordinate conferences, calls, and meetings with key industry contacts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field with a strong academic track record
0–2 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related fields
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg and DealCloud experience a plus
Personable and articulate, with strong analytical thinking, polished writing skills, and exceptional attention to detail and organization
Demonstrated interest in private equity and investment banking through coursework, extracurriculars, or prior experience
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
