We’re looking for a
Director of Investments
to lead our investment management process as we scale. This is a hands-on role overseeing our portfolios, research, and rebalancing process, with the opportunity to evolve into a Chief Investment Officer role as the firm grows. Key Responsibilities
Oversee model portfolio construction, implementation, and ongoing monitoring across client accounts Lead investment research, due diligence, and performance reporting Manage rebalancing workflows, trading execution, and account maintenance within custodial systems Support financial planning initiatives by providing investment insights that integrate with each client’s overall plan Present portfolio positioning and performance results to both clients and the internal team Collaborate with the advisory team on asset allocation, risk management, and strategic adjustments Maintain a disciplined, evidence-based investment philosophy consistent with the firm’s values and fiduciary standard Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Licenses: Active Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses required. CFA preferred. 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, investment research, or trading within an RIA or institutional environment Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with tools such as Morningstar, YCharts, or Orion preferred Familiarity with ETF and SMA due diligence and portfolio construction methodologies Passion for holistic wealth management and alignment between investments and financial planning Desire to grow with a collaborative, boutique firm and contribute to scaling processes and systems Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to work autonomously while leveraging firm resources and mentorship to grow your practice. Compensation & Benefits
