As our Director of Engineering, you’ll play a pivotal role in building an engineering organization, overseeing project design, optimizing design strategies, and ensuring our engineering teams deliver high-performance, scalable, cost-effective solutions in power delivery construction. Responsibilities

Advise management and lead efforts in the design, specification, and review of technical documents required for the permitting and construction activities of substations, transmission lines, distribution lines, and energy storage facilities. Participate in the development of the strategic business development plan and the yearly business strategy Develop and implement engineering best practices Development and implement standard engineering processes in accordance with industry standards and business goals and objectives Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety requirements Collaborate with project management, estimating, procurement, and business development teams to align engineering efforts with strategic business goals Provide estimates of the activities, schedule and resources required to complete a project Provide technical advice, technical risk assessment and problem resolution in area of functional responsibility Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the department Actively participate in trade and technical associations Ensure successful execution for all projects Requirements

BS in Engineering or related discipline Deep understanding of transmissions, distribution, substations and power systems Twelve plus years of engineering design experience with at least 8 years in power delivery The ability to balance technical excellence, cost efficiency, and project deadlines Experience working with Utilities in Power Delivery Exposure to the renewable energy market is preferred PE preferred Benefits
