Overview
This position is located at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented staff accountant with the ability to thrive in our fast paced, growing organization. This individual must be able to identify and resolve problems both independently and as a part of a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization along with strong organizational and time management ability are also required. Responsibilities
Identify and resolve problems independently and as part of a team. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support accounting processes. Maintain accurate and timely financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant prior experience; CPA preferred. Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience. Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel; JD Edwards skills desirable. Detail-oriented with effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and time management ability. Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity. Manufacturing or construction and inventory accounting experience a plus. Ability to travel on occasion (
