Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $63,000
Degree Required:
PhD or EdD in special education, curriculum, & instruction or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university before the appointment date (ABD considered). Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a proven ability to develop and deliver online courses. Committed to program assessment. Effective supervision of student teachers. Preferred Qualifications: Successful experience teaching in public K-12 schools. Successful experience teaching college courses, both face-to-face and online. Experience supervising student teaching internships. Able to implement new curriculum. Potential for scholarship demonstrated by publications, presentations, or grants. Active in relevant professional organizations. Experience providing academic advising for Teacher Education majors. Responsibilities: Teach 24 adjusted credit hours per academic year as assigned by the Division Chair (teaching assignments may include online instruction); Supervise student teaching internships in the schools; advise Teacher Education majors; be actively involved in relevant professional organizations; develop a record of publications, presentations, and grants; participate in Teacher Education program assessment; serve on division and campus committees; work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff. Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students. Application Procedure:
