Overview
Our client, a fast-growing AI research company focused on building safe and interpretable AI systems, is seeking an experienced Order Management Consultant to support its Revenue Accounting team during a period of rapid growth and transformation. This position is 100% remote, with the option to work hybrid from their San Francisco office. This opportunity has an initial duration of three months, with the potential to be extended. Responsibilities
Lead and scale order management and billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Resolve complex billing scenarios, including contract modifications and non-standard pricing. Support month-end close activities, including invoice verification and usage validation. Collaborate cross-functionally across Revenue Accounting, Legal, Tax, GTM, and Finance Systems. Drive process improvements and lead system implementations, including RFPs and vendor management. Requirements
10+ years of experience in billing/order management within high-growth SaaS or tech companies. Strong experience with Salesforce and Stripe; experience with automation is preferred. Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes for SaaS (subscription and consumption models). Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles. Data analysis skills; SQL experience is a plus. Compensation
