Revenue Accounting Consultants (Operational & Technical)
Our client, a fast-growing AI research company focused on building safe and interpretable AI systems, is seeking Revenue Accounting Consultants to support both operational and technical revenue functions during a period of rapid expansion and transformation. These positions are 100% remote, with the option to work hybrid from their San Francisco office. These engagements have an initial duration of 3 months, with the potential to extend. Responsibilities - Operational Revenue
Manage daily revenue accounting operations and ensure ASC 606 compliance. Own month-end close processes for revenue, deferred revenue, and AR. Lead CECL aging analysis and AR metrics development. Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic finance initiatives. Support revenue system implementations and audit coordination. Responsibilities - Technical Revenue
Draft ASC 606 technical accounting memos and revenue recognition assessments. Evaluate new product offerings and go-to-market strategies for revenue treatment. Advise stakeholders on complex revenue scenarios and pricing models. Maintain revenue recognition policies and lead technical research initiatives. Participate in system implementations and process improvements. Requirements
10+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and ASC 606 expertise. Experience with NetSuite ARM or similar revenue recognition tools. Strong technical writing and analytical skills. Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. CPA preferred; experience in SaaS, AI/ML, or high-growth tech companies is a plus. Compensation
