$250,000 – $400,000 + substantial equity and relocation support
Company Description Our client is building a next-generation digital bank designed to power the innovation economy. Unlike typical fintech layers built on top of legacy systems, this team is rebuilding banking infrastructure from the ground up — connecting directly to the Federal Reserve and creating new financial systems for modern industries like AI, crypto, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
The company is currently in the final stages of regulatory approval and plans to launch publicly within the next year. With a team of fewer than a dozen engineers, this is an opportunity to join as a
founding member
and shape both the technology and the culture of one of the most ambitious financial startups in the country.
What You Will Do
Lead the development of customer-facing web applications for digital banking products.
Collaborate closely with design and backend teams to bring new banking and payments features to life.
Establish frontend architecture, standards, and best practices for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
Own the end-to-end user experience for the business banking dashboard.
Drive rapid product iterations and shipping velocity in a startup environment.
Help build and mentor a growing team of engineers.
Ideal Candidate Background
4 – 6 years of professional experience in
frontend engineering , ideally with exposure to
early-stage or high-growth startups .
Strong expertise in
React
and
TypeScript , including component architecture and state management.
Proven experience building
customer-facing web products
(not just marketing sites).
Ability to design and implement frontend systems with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience at
product-driven fintech
or
payments companies .
Familiarity with financial systems, security principles, or high-availability distributed applications.
Interest in contributing to design systems or UI component libraries.
Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical teams.
Compensation, Benefits, and Other Details
Base Salary:
$250,000 – $400,000 USD
Equity:
Significant ownership potential (annualized value up to seven figures depending on level)
