Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Army Assessments Planner to provide support to the Army Deputy Chief of Staff G-2 (DCS G-2), Directorate of Strategy & Transformation (DAMI-ST).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and assessments in support of DAMI ST decision-making on integrated intelligence analysis, strategic planning, and business transformation initiatives. Apply operations research, statistical modeling, simulation, and data science techniques to evaluate alternative courses of action and assess operational effectiveness. Provide analytical support for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities, aligning recommendations with mission objectives and fiscal constraints. Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, preparing reports, dashboards, and executive-level briefings for government stakeholders. Collaborate with Army Staff (ARSTAF) to provide intelligence support and integrated assessments in the form of briefings, documents, and in-person meetings. Support policy and strategy development by providing evidence-based recommendations to senior leaders. Manage and execute analytical studies from problem definition through final recommendations, ensuring rigor, accuracy, and timeliness. Coordinate across diverse teams and organizations to ensure intelligence systems and modernization efforts are evaluated holistically. Encourage knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices to inform future investments and capability development. Support the DAMI ST leadership as they engage with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to provide coordinated analysis and support broader mission planning. Required Qualifications

Requires Eligibility for a DoD TS/SCI Clearance Minimum 10 years of professional experience applying operations research and analytical methods to military or national security challenges. Pentagon/Joint Staff/ARSTAF experience providing decision support to senior leaders. Demonstrated expertise in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and Army/DoD resource management. Understanding of the Intelligence Community or experience integrating intelligence into organizations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering executive-level briefings. Proven ability to lead and execute analytic studies, integrating modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis. Experience collaborating with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to support strategic and operational planning. Proficiency in MS Office Ability to multitask in a high paced environment Requires eligibility for a DoD TS/SCI clearance Desired Qualifications

Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or related discipline. Former U.S. Army Operations Research/Systems Analyst (ORSA) / Functional Area 49 (FA49). Experience supporting OSD, Joint Staff, or Combatant Commands in addition to Army Staff. Experience working with or within the defense industry supporting government contracts.
