We are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or an NICU-trained Physician Assistant to join our expanding team at a reputable hospital in Brooksville, Florida, a growing suburb located north of Tampa along Florida's Nature Coast. This facility features a 20-bed Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with on-site support from Neonatologists and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists. Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care for newborns in a Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 12-20 patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Neonatologists and various sub-specialists. Work 16-hour shifts with potential for 24-hour shifts as the unit continues to grow. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives to enhance clinical skills. Support the hospital's commitment to family-centered care. Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master s Degree. Board Certified in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or through NCCPA for Physician Assistants. 2+ years of current work experience in NICU (not including training or RN experience). DEA certification must be obtained prior to start. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. License and Certification Requirements:
Current Florida state license or willingness to obtain. Board Certification as an NNP or PA. Clean malpractice/licensing history preferred.
