Citibank, N.A. seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location. Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis and reporting, financial forecasting and product driven analysis of payment rates, net credit loss ratios, fees, and balance growth. Conduct data analytics using tools such as Excel, SQL Server, Access, PowerPoint, Macros, Tableau, Knime, Power BI, Essbase, Hyperion, IFW, and RP. Analyze annual three-year Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR PPNR forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks. Prepare financial reports summarizing trends to provide insights to senior management; prepare presentations and analyses for CFO/CEO reviews, including business initiatives. Lead analysis of product profitability and provide guidance on business and product decisions for US Services (including ROA, ROI, capital requirements, operating margin, investments, and productivity). Prepare materials for team supporting CFO on Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, Risk and Opportunities assessments, Outlook, Earnings, and Strategic Operating Plan reviews. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on processes such as CCAR, Plan, Outlook, and P&L-based analysis; provide insights on revenue and expense trends, cost of credit correlation, balance, and business drivers to stakeholders. Offer solutions for revamping and simplifying planning processes using digital tools to improve forecasting and business decisions. Support governance and controls enhancement, including re-engineering and automation efforts for FP&A transformation initiatives. Telecommuting/hybrid work arrangement may be permitted within Citi policies and protocols. Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. Six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Financial Planning and Analysis roles related to financial services and consumer lending. Six (6) years of experience must include: financial analysis and reporting; financial forecasting and budgeting; product driven analysis; data analytics; proficiency with Excel, SQL Server, Query interfaces, Access, PowerPoint, Macros; Tableau, Knime, Power BI; Essbase, Hyperion, IFW, RP; DSMT; and regulatory knowledge.
