Sr. Microsoft Power Platform Developer
for a contract role with our client in Austin, TX. Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. Evaluates user requests for new or modified programs, such as for financial or human resource management systems, clinical research trial results, statistical study of traffic patterns, or analyzing and developing specifications for bridge design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development. This position will work to develop, implement, and support the expansion of the Texas HHS Microsoft 365 Power Platform and complete development to support DSHS CFO\'s Invoice Tracking System (ITS). He/she will perform Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Process Automate, Dataverse, Integration of Power Apps with external services and products, Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, and more. Develop, implement, and support Power Platform solutions as part of the Texas HHS ITS project. Work with Power Platform areas: Process Automate, Dataverse, Power Apps (Model-driven, Canvas), Power Pages, and Integrations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: 8 years of work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments 4 years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience 4 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Pages, Connectors, and Power Automate 2 years experience in design and development of Power Pages, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other backend data stores 2 years of communication, analytical and interpersonal skills 2 years of teamwork and collaboration skills; ability to work independently or on cross-functional teams 2 years of mentoring developers on Power Platform 2 years of experience with Agile development and sprint planning 1 year of experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows, and Process Advisor 1 year of experience extending Power Platform and Power Pages with JavaScript and custom plug-ins 1 year of understanding of Dataverse tables, connectors, and external integration 1 year of understanding of Power BI and the Power Platform best practices for application development and operations 1 year of understanding of the Power Platform CoE Admin Center 1 year of experience implementing agile methodologies for one or more State of Texas Agencies 1 year of experience with healthcare or Public Health 1 year of experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Apps portals
